Zac Deters
Co-Founder and Co-Owner
Zac Deters brings more than two decades of U.S. Army experience together with deep, hands-on knowledge of manufacturing and operations to BallisTechX. After serving 12 years in the Army, Zac understands firsthand the importance of precision, accountability, readiness, and having the right information at the right time.
Following his military career, Zac carried that operational mindset into the manufacturing industry, developing a practical understanding of the challenges manufacturers face every day—from production and inventory to quality, traceability, workflow, and execution on the shop floor.
As Co-Founder and Co-Owner of BallisTechX, Zac helps ensure our technology is built around the realities of manufacturing—not just what looks good on a dashboard. His combination of military leadership and manufacturing know-how brings a mission-focused perspective to how BallisTechX approaches ERP: giving teams greater visibility, stronger accountability, and the tools they need to operate with precision.

Josh Mediate
Co-Founder and Co-Owner
Joshua Mediate brings a unique combination of business strategy, marketing expertise, technology, and firsthand experience in the shooting and outdoor industries to BallisTechX.
With a professional background spanning marketing, business development, digital strategy, and entrepreneurship, Josh has spent his career helping organizations identify opportunities, build stronger brands, and use technology to create more efficient and scalable businesses. He holds a degree in Communications Studies with a focus in Advertising and Public Relations from Grand Valley State University.
Outside of his professional career, Josh has a lifelong connection to the shooting sports and outdoor community. An avid competitive and precision shooter, hunter, and outdoorsman, he has spent years developing an appreciation for the equipment, craftsmanship, precision, and technical knowledge behind the industry. His hunting experiences extend beyond the United States to international destinations, giving him a broader perspective on the sporting and outdoor industries and the people and businesses that support them.
As Co-Founder and Co-Owner of BallisTechX, Josh brings those two worlds together—combining business and technology expertise with an authentic understanding of the industries BallisTechX was created to serve.
